KM-475-B Trim Remover

---

1. Lower the front window.
2. Remove the window frame inner cover.
3. Remove the front door escutcheon.



---





4. Remove the rear deck lid remote switch and the power window/mirror control switch.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the door trim panel screws.
7. Pry off the trim panel using the trim remover KM-475-B.
8. Disconnect the status display connector.

---

1. Connect the status display connector.
2. Install the trim panel.
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the rear deck lid remote switch and the power window/mirror control switch.
5. Install the door trim panel screws.
Tighten
Tighten the door trim panel screws to 2.5 N•m (22 lb-in).




---





6. Install the front door escutcheon.
7. Install the window frame inner cover.
8. Raise the front window.

---

1. Lower the rear window.
2. Pry off the inside door handle trim bezel.
3. Remove the power window control switch.
4. Disconnect the power window control switch electrical connector.
5. Remove the door trim panel screws.
6. Pry off the trim panel using the trim remover KM-475-B.

---

1. Install the trim panel.
2. Connect the power window control switch electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Install the power window control switch.
4. Install the door trim panel screws.
Tighten
Tighten the door trim panel screws to 2.5 N•m(22 lb-in).


5. Install the inside door handle trim bezel.
6. Raise the rear window.
7. Raise the rear window.

1. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel. Refer to "Lower B-Pillar Trim Panel" In this Section.
2. Remove the bolt and the upper front seat belt anchor.
3. Reposition the upper portion of the lower B-pillar trim panel.
4. Pry off the upper B-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Install the upper B-pillar trim panel.
2. Install the upper B-pillar trim panel.
3. Install the upper portion of the lower B-pillar trim panel to its original position.
4. Install the upper front seat belt anchor with the bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the seat belt anchor bolt to 38 N•m (28 lb-ft).


5. Install the lower B-pillar trim panel. Refer to "Lower B-Pillar Trim Panel" In this Section.

1. Reposition the rear portion of the front rocker trim panel and the front portion of the rear rocker trim panel.
2. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Install the lower B-pillar trim panel.
2. Install the front rocker trim panel and the rear rocker trim panel to their original positions.

---

1. Lower the rear seatback.
2. Remove the C-pillar trim panel.
3. Remove the rear seat belts. Refer to Section 8A, Seat Belts.
4. Remove the child seat anchorage. Refer to Section 9H, Child Seat Anchorage.
5. Remove the plastic retaining clips and the deck lid sill plate cover.

1. Install the rear deck lid sill plate cover with the plastic retaining clips.
2. Install the child seat anchorage. Refer to Section 9H, Child Seat Anchorage.
3. Install the rear seat belts. Refer to Section 9A, Seat Belts.
4. Install the C-pillar trim panel.
5. Install the rear seat. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.

1. Open the hatchback door.
2. Pry off the hatchback door upper garnish molding.

1. Install the hatchback door upper garnigh moling.
2. Install the hatchback door upper garnigh moling.
3. Close the hatchback door.

---

1. Open the hatchback door.
2. Remove the hatchback door upper garnish molding. Refer to "Hatchback Door upper garnish Molding" in this section.
3. Remove the lower garnish molding clips using the trim remover KM-475-B.
4. Remove the lower garnish molding.

---

1. Install the lower garnish molding with the clips.
2. Install the lower garnish molding with the clips.
3. Install the hatchback door upper garnish molding.
4. Close the hatchback door.

---

1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the tailgate upper garnish molding.

---

1. Install the tailgate upper garnish molding.
2. Install the tailgate upper garnish molding.
Notice : Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

---

1. Remove the tailgate upper garnish molding. Refer to "Tailgate Upper Garnish Molding" in this section.

2. Remove the screws and tailgate upper garnish molding cover.
3. Remove the screws with the side molding.



---





4. Remove the tailgate lower garnish molding upper screws.



---





5. Remove the screws and the tailgate lower garnish molding.

---

1. Install the tailgate lower garnish molding and screws.
2. Install the tailgate lower garnish molding and screws.
Notice : Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.

3. Install the tailgate lower garnish molding upper screws.



---





4. Install the screws with the side molding.



---





5. Install the tailgate upper garnish molding cover and screws.
6. Install the tail gate upper garnish molding. Refer to "Tailgate Upper Garnish Molding" in this section.

---

1. Remove the screws.
2. Separate the hood release cable from the hood latch release handle.
3. Carefully pull the instrument panel under cover until the mounting clips are released and the instrument panel under cover.



---





4. Remove the bolts from the driver's side knee bolster.
5. Remove the knee bolster.

---

1. Install the knee bolster with the bolts.
2. Install the knee bolster with the bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the driver's side knee bolster mounting bolts to 10 N•m (89 lb-in).




---





3. Install the instrument panel under cover.
4. Connect the hood release cable to the hood latch release handle.
5. Install the screws.

1. Remove the front rocker trim panel.

---

1. Install the front rocker trim panel.

---

1. Reposition the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the rear rocker trim panel.

---

1. Install the rear rocker trim panel.
2. Install the rear seat cushion to its original position.

---

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.
3. Remove the left and the right rear rocker trim panels. Refer to "Rear Rocker Trim Panel" in this section.
4. Remove the bolts and the left and the right lower front seat belt anchors from the B-pillar.



---





5. Remove the left and the right front rocker trim panels.
6. Remove the left and the right lower B-pillar trim panels. Refer to "Lower B-Pillar Trim Panel" in this section.
7. Remove the front seats. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.
8. Remove the left and the right kick panels. Refer to "Kick Panel" in this section.
9. Remove the floor console. Refer to "Floor Console" in this section.
10. Remove the gearshift housing bolts and nuts and reposition the gearshift housing.
11. Remove the floor carpet.

1. Install the floor carpet.
2. Install the gearshift housing with the bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the gearshift housing bolts and nuts to 8 N•m (70 lb-in).

3. Install the floor console. Refer to "Floor Console" in this section.
4. Install the left and the right kick panels. Refer to "Kick Panel" in this section.
5. Install the front seats. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.
6. Install the left and the right lower B-pillar trim panels. Refer to "Lower B-Pillar Trim Panel" in this section.
7. Install the left and the right front rocker trim panels.
8. Install the left and the right lower front seat belt anchors to the B-pillar with the bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the seat belt anchor bolts to 38 N•m (28 lb-ft).


9. Install the left and the right rear rocker trim panels. Refer to "Rear Rocker Trim Panel" in this section.
10. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the screw from the rear portion of the floor console.



---





3. Remove the screws from the front portion of the floor console.
4. Remove the floor console.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

---

1. Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Install the floor console.
3. Install the front portion of the floor console with the screws.



---





4. Install the screws to the rear portion of the floor console.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Install the glove box, instrument panel lower cover, cigar lighter trim panel and stereo cassette player.
7. Install the console cover.

---

1. Remove the A-pillar trim panel.

---

2. Install the A-pillar trim panel.
3. Install the A-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Remove the C-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Install the C-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Remove the screws and the C-pillar trim panel assemble.
2. Remove the screws with the rear speaker cover from the C-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Install the rear speaker cover from the c-pillar trim panel.
2. Install the C-pillar trim panel assembly.

---

1. Remove the C-pillar trim panel from the body.

---

1. Install the C-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the D-pillar trim panel.

---

1. Install the D-pillar trim panel.
2. Close the tailgate.

---

1. Remove the luggage compartment rear panel cover. Refer to "Luggage Compartment Rear Panel Cover" in this section.
2. Remove the plastic retaining clips using the trim remover KM-475-B and reposition the luggage compartment rear trim panel.

---

1. Install the wheelhouse trim panel with the plastic clips.
2. Install the luggage compartment rear panel cover. Refer to "Luggage Compartment Rear Panel Cover" in this section.

---

1. Remove the luggage compartment rear trim panel. Refer to "Luggage Compartment Rear Trim Panel" in this section.
2. Remove the clips and the screw.
3. Remove the wheelhouse trim panel.

---

Notice : Dissimilar metals in direct contact with each other may corrode rapidly. Make sure to use the correct fasteners to prevent premature corrosion.
1. Install the wheelhouse trim panel with the clips the screw.
2. Install the wheelhouse trim panel with the clips the screw.
3. Install the luggage compartment rear trim panel. Refer to "Luggage Compartment Rear Trim Panel" in this section.

1. Remove the C-pillar trim. Refer to "C-pillar Trim Panel" in this section.
2. Remove the rear wheel house trim panel. Refer to "Rear Wheelhouse Trim Panel" in this section.
3. Remove the D-Pillar trim. Refer to "D-pillar Trim Panel" in this section.
4. Remove the screws, the clips, and the luggage compartment wheelhouse trim panel.

1. Install the wheelhouse trim panel with the screws and the clips.

1. Install the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to "D-pillar Trim Panel" in this section.
2. Install the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to "D-pillar Trim Panel" in this section.
3. Install the rear wheelhouse trim panel. Refer to "Rear Wheelhouse Trim Panel" in this section.
4. Install the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to "C-pillar Trim Panel" in this section.

1. Remove the screws and the front wheelhouse trim.

---

1. Install the front wheelhouse trim with the screws.

---

1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.
2. Remove the seat belt bolt.
3. Remove the screws and the rear wheelhouse trim.

---

1. Install the rear wheelhouse trim with the screws.
2. Install the seat belt bolt.
3. Install the rear seat. Refer to Section 9H, Seats.

---

1. Remove the clips and the rear panel cover.

---

1. Install the rear panel cover with the clips.

---

1. Remove the plastic retaining clips and the rear trim panel.

---

1. Install the rear trim panel with the plastic retaining clips.
2. Install the rear trim panel with the plastic retaining clips.
